TM BIOWATER Warehouse Associate – Job Scope

\nPosition Summary
\nThe Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and palletizing raw materials, packaging components, and finished products. This position ensures inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and compliance with company procedures while supporting manufacturing and distribution operations.
\nIn pharmaceutical and GMP manufacturing environments, the Warehouse Associate follows Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and TM BioWater Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure material traceability and product integrity.
\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
\nReceiving Operations
\n• Receive incoming shipments from local and international purchase orders.
\n• Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
\n• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
\n• Label and identify received materials.
\n• Report damaged or non-conforming materials.
\n• Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
\nInventory Management
\n• Maintain accurate inventory records.
\n• Perform daily cycle counts.
\n• Assist with physical inventory counts.
\n• Rotate inventory using FIFO or FEFO methods.
\n• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
\n• Maintain lot and batch traceability.
\nWarehouse Operations
\n• Pick materials for production orders.
\n• Prepare finished goods for shipment.
\n• Organize warehouse storage locations.
\n• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions.
\n• Stage materials for manufacturing.
\n• Restock warehouse inventory locations.
\nShipping Operations
\n• Pick order based on provided order picking form.
\n• Assist in packing and Palletizing customer shipments.
\n• Package products according to SOP standards.
\n• Verify order accuracy with shipping department before shipment.
\nEquipment Operation
\nOperate warehouse equipment safely, including:
\n• Pallet jacks
\n• Hand trucks
\n• Forklifts (if certified)
\n• Barcode scanners
\n• Label printers
\nPerform routine equipment inspections before use.
\nTool Control
\n• Issue and track tools/equipment for production and maintenance staff, ensuring accurate records.
\n• Perform inspections, minor repairs, and calibrations to ensure tools are safe and functional.
\n• Coordinate calibration schedules for precision measuring instruments
\n• Conduct inventory counts to ensure tools checked out are checked back in.
\n• Manage tool organization
\nDocumentation
\n• Complete receiving logs.
\n• Record inventory transactions.
\n• Maintain warehouse logs.
\n• Maintain tool tracking, inspection, calibration logs.
\n• Complete shipping documentation.
\n• Record damaged material reports.
\n• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
\nQuality & Compliance
\n• Follow FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (21 CFR Parts 210 & 211), where applicable.
\n• Comply with warehouse SOPs.
\n• Maintain inventory traceability.
\n• Support internal and external audits.
\n• Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials.
\nSafety
\n• Follow OSHA safety regulations.
\n• Wear required PPE.
\n• Maintain safe warehouse conditions.
\n• Report hazards immediately.
\n• Practice proper lifting techniques.
\n• Keep aisles and exits clear.
\nMinimum Qualifications
\nRequired
\n• High school diploma or equivalent.
\n• Minimum one (1) year of experience in:
\no Warehouse operations
\no Shipping and receiving
\no Inventory control
\no Material handling
\no Distribution
\no Manufacturing
\nQualify or Possess a Twic Card
\nPreferred Qualifications
\n• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
\n• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or manufacturing warehouse.
\n• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
\n• Familiarity with barcode scanning systems.
\n• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
