This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that keeps essential healthcare operations running smoothly. Every item you move and every order you prepare directly supports patient care and hospital operations.
We value teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic—and we offer opportunities to learn new skills, grow your career, and gain experience in healthcare logistics.
What You’ll Do
- Move materials throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
- Unload, pick, pack, count, and verify inventory to maintain accuracy and organization
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling tools (as trained and authorized)
- Update and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system
- Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and stage products and supplies for delivery to various Deaconess facilities
- Occasionally deliver materials to other locations as needed
- Support overall warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate distribution of supplies
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred (warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience a plus)
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn new skills
What We Offer
- A supportive, team-focused work environment where your contributions matter every day
- Hands-on training and opportunities to learn warehouse systems and equipment
- Career growth opportunities within healthcare logistics and operations
- A stable, active role where you can build valuable long-term skills
- A workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement
