We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling operations. This is a hands-on role requiring forklift and order picker experience, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Pull and prepare orders accurately for shipment
Load, unload, and organize materials, including bags, boxes, and loose items
Put away and store inventory in proper warehouse locations
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as order pickers (up to 20 feet)
Maintain inventory accuracy and proper storage practices
Read and follow work orders and pick sheets to ensure correct order fulfillment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Support overall warehouse operations and material handling tasks
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
At least 1 year of sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, and order picker experience
Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet
Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, twisting, pulling, standing) throughout the shift
Stable work history with no employment gaps exceeding 3 months (unless explained)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in wholesale distribution (e.g., home improvement or supply chain environments)
Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Ability to quickly learn warehouse systems and material handling processes
