Overview

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for order fulfillment, inventory organization, material handling, and operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts/order pickers.
This is a physically active position with the opportunity to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pick, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
• Put away materials, including loose fittings, boxes, and bagged inventory
• Operate sit-down forklifts and stand-up forklifts/order pickers at heights up to 20 feet
• Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory
• Read and follow work orders and shipping documentation
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
• Minimum of 1 year of stand-up forklift/order picker experience
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet
• Stable work history with no employment gaps greater than 3 months unless clearly explained
• Ability to read and understand work orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale distribution environments
• Experience working with large-scale retail or building supply distribution operations
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or order fulfillment
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
