Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

This position is located in a vibrant city known for its diverse culture and thriving community. As a Record Center Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our records efficiently. This physically demanding role requires regular lifting and moving of storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh between 24 lbs. to over 100 lbs. You will be responsible for processing orders and handling various materials, ensuring they are stored and retrieved accurately.

Responsibilities

• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes manually and via hand carts.
• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs. without assistance.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate handheld scanners and climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines and stairs.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.

Additional Requirements

Protective footwear is required and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for safety toe cap footwear with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best".

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
