A Day in the Life of a Warehouse AssociateAs a Warehouse Associate, you'll start your day by reviewing incoming shipments, inventory needs, and priorities for the warehouse. You'll receive, unload, inspect, and properly store materials and equipment, making sure everything is organized and easy to locate when it's needed. You'll also help prepare orders for shipment by accurately picking, packing, and staging items while keeping a close eye on details.Throughout the day, you'll work as part of a team to keep materials moving efficiently throughout the warehouse. You may operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to safely move and position items, assist with inventory management, and help ensure orders are accurate and ready to go. You'll also pitch in with general warehouse duties, keeping work areas clean, organized, and ready for the next shipment or project.You'll take pride in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse that supports the teams who rely on these materials every day. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and willingness to work as part of a team will help ensure the right materials are available when they're needed. Every day, your work behind the scenes will help keep First Onsite operations moving and our teams prepared to deliver for our customers.Responsibilities:Support daily operations with equipment, consumables, and logistics managementOversee warehouse inventory, including monthly consumables and annual asset countsFulfill outbound orders for branches, jobsites, and Area Wide Events (AWE)Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and equipment standards using Lean 5S practicesManage readiness of large loss fleet trailers and laydown yards during AWEsAddress maintenance and operational issues of restoration equipmentReceive, inspect, track, and accurately store inbound inventoryAssemble, label, and ship orders efficiently to job locationsConduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and prepare receiving reportsIdentify and resolve warehouse equipment, inventory, or organizational issuesExperience & Education:2 years in warehouse operations and distributionCertification in operating power-truck equipmentHigh school diploma or GED requiredFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
