    Warehouse Associate / Order Processor
    Chesapeake, VA
    Full-Time | $15.00–$15.50 per hour

    Available Shifts:
    1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    Givens is looking for dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates / Order Processors to join our Chesapeake warehouse team.
    Since 1957, Givens has provided warehousing, distribution, transportation, packing and crating, and air freight services to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for team members who take pride in doing the job safely, accurately, and efficiently.

    In this role, you will be responsible for picking, processing, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.

    Responsibilities
    • Pick customer orders accurately according to order specifications
    • Pack and prepare orders for shipment
    • Load and unload materials from inbound and outbound trucks
    • Pull products and materials from warehouse locations for shipping
    • Use RF scanners to verify products, quantities, and order accuracy
    • Identify damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel
    • Shrink-wrap and prepare pallets for shipment
    • Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers, stand-up lifts, and electric lifts as needed
    • Meet productivity and on-time performance expectations
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
    • Follow all company policies, procedures, and warehouse safety requirements
    • Work with team members to meet daily shipping and processing deadlines

    Requirements
    • Previous warehouse, order picking, processing, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse work for extended periods
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
    • Dependable attendance and punctuality
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
