    Description

    We are looking for a Part Time Warehouse Associate that is able to work roughly 30 hours a week, Thursday - Saturday, 3/10's from 8:00am-6:30pm. Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing a variety of inbound, outbound, and inventory control activities. Prospective candidates should embrace a cross-functional mentality and be eager to learn all areas of our operation. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset is essential for each associate.

    DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Meet all daily picking, packing, and shipping objectives
    • Conduct cycle counts of our inventory levels to maintain reliable reporting data
    • Ensure safe operations in compliance with OSHA and other legal regulations
    • Ability to learn how to operate various equipment used in a warehouse environment

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Will regularly be required to assist with the loading or unloading of products and materials for shipping or restocking vehicles. As such, must be able to: Perform manual tasks such as bending, reaching, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices.

    Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
    • Prior Warehouse / Production Environment Experience preferred but not required
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds; up to 70 pounds (assisted) if necessary
    • Experience with Warehouse Management System / Barcode Technology preferred but not required
    • History of dependability/punctuality
