Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Looking for a high-paying part-time overnight schedule that leaves your days completely free? Join our team in Katy as a Warehouse Associate focusing on truck loadout operations! Offering $18.00/hour, steady weeknight shifts with zero weekend work, and a potential pathway to permanent employment, this position is ideal for night-owl logistics workers who excel in fast-paced loading environments.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 11 PM - 5AM (No Weekends!)

What You'll Do

• Safely load products and materials onto distribution trucks according to work orders, shipping schedules, and weight distribution guidelines.
• Inspect product types, count quantities, and check manifest documentation before dispatching drivers.
• Utilize loadout machinery, conveyors, loaders, and automated systems to keep freight moving efficiently.
• Fill out load tickets, bills of lading, and inventory records while strictly adhering to company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and DOT standards.
• Inspect trucks and loading dock areas to ensure a clean, obstacle-free, and hazard-free work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to lift 10-40 lbs consistently and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an active industrial facility for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions across indoor dock areas and outdoor loading bays.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate load status with drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors, with high attention to detail for verifying shipping records.
• Exceptional punctuality for 11:00 PM night shifts and a proactive safety-first attitude.

Workplace: This is a 100% onsite role located at a busy electrical supply distribution facility. Work involves physical loading, freight inspection, and active movement in both indoor warehouse zones and outdoor dock areas.

Contract Terms: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
