Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description:
  • The Warehouse Specialist - Finished Goods plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our solar manufacturing facility.
  • This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, components, and finished products.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Material Handling and Inventory Management:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments aProductst packing slips or purchase orders.
  • Accurately label and store materials in designated locations, maintaining clear and orderly inventory records.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.
Shipping and Distribution:
  • Prepare materials and products for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and palletizing.
  • Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers or distribution centers.
Operational Support:
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Report damaged or defective materials to the appropriate department for resolution.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines to create a secure work environment.
  • Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management are a plus.
  • 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to [50 lbs.] and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.
  • Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • This is not solely a forklift driver position.
