Warehouse Associate – Pick, Pack & Ship

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Pay: $19.00–$24.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Hire Sync is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Middleburg Heights, OH. This is a hands-on warehouse position that combines picking, packing, shipping, material handling, and measurement. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience along with strong basic math and measuring skills.

This position requires more than simply moving and packaging materials. You must be comfortable working with measurements, reading a ruler accurately, understanding fractions and decimals, using a dial caliper, and converting decimal measurements to fractions. Attention to detail and measurement accuracy are important to ensuring materials are properly identified, verified, and prepared for shipment.

What You’ll Do

• Pick, move, and organize materials and products throughout the warehouse
• Pack, crate, and prepare products for shipment
• Assist with shipping and receiving based on daily workload
• Accurately read a ruler and tape measure
• Use dial and electronic calipers to verify material dimensions
• Work with fractions and decimal measurements
• Convert decimal measurements to fractions as needed
• Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and packaging
• Count and measure materials accurately
• Use basic hand tools to cut, package, and secure products
• Verify measurements and product information before preparing materials for shipment
• Complete work accurately while maintaining a sense of urgency
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Perform additional warehouse duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or material handling experience preferred
• Strong basic math skills are required
• Ability to accurately read a ruler and tape measure
• Understanding of fractions and decimals
• Ability to convert decimals to fractions
• Ability to accurately use a dial caliper; electronic caliper experience is also helpful
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with measurements
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly
• Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
