Job Summary
------------
As a Warehouse Associate at Carrier Enterprise, you will manage daily warehouse operations, including:
- Picking and verifying orders
- Loading and unloading products
- Maintaining inventory control using advanced warehouse technology
- Ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of HVAC products
This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Duties and Responsibilities
---------------------------
- Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse
- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards
- Scan products to ensure accurate and timely shipping
- Collaborate with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for product delivery
- Deliver exceptional customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
---------------------------
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry
- Excellent communication, written and oral, and interpersonal team-building skills
- Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail
Requirements
------------
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems
- Current Forklift certification is preferred
