A Day In The Life
The Warehouse Associate plays an essential role in supporting operations at the GST Parts Distribution Center (PDC). Under the leadership of a designated Manager, the Warehouse Associate will support the efficient handling of Toyota parts and accessories through tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. The Warehouse Associate helps maintain accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment to meet customer and dealer needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and teamwork to uphold the high standards of quality expected at the PDC.

 

As a Warehouse Associate you will:

  • Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including but not limited to unloading, sorting, stocking, palletizing, picking, packing, staging, replenishing, loading parts, and conducting cycle counts throughout the shift
  • Safely operate various types of material handling equipment (e.g., reach truck, forklift, tugger) 
  • Use radio frequency (RF) scanners to accurately scan parts and labels to ensure precise inventory tracking
  • Count, label, and verify parts with accuracy
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; properly use tools and equipment; wear required personal protective equipment (PPE); and promptly report safety incidents/ hazards
  • Meet or exceed established standards for quality, productivity, and accuracy
  • Have timely, consistent, and predictable attendance
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and job-specific instructions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations

 

What We Need From You

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 0 - 2 years of related experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and oral English instructions, standard operating procedures, and memos
  • Have a positive and cooperative attitude, the ability to multi-task, and work within a team
  • Valid Driver's License Required

Travel Requirements
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 5% of the time and on a domestic basis).
