Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Returns

Location: Auburn, WA (NOT BUS ACCESSABLE)
Pay: $18-$18 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm or 7 am - 3:30 (shifts may change during first day orientation) with overtime and weekends based upon workload.

Position Summary:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our Returns team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, processing, and preparing returned merchandise to be placed back into inventory or properly dispositioned. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a stationary workstation environment for extended periods and can maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The Warehouse Associate will evaluate returned products to determine their condition (first-quality, defective, or disposal), perform steaming and precise folding of apparel to meet company standards, and ensure accurate SKU identification and labeling. Additional responsibilities include printing and attaching MSRP tickets, repackaging items using appropriate materials, applying poly labels, and assigning inventory locations using internal systems. Associates will also sort and organize products by designated floor locations.

Returns job description:  

Inspect & identify the condition of product.

•    1st quality (Return active Inventory)

•    Defective (Employee Sale)

•    Trash (Dispose)

Steaming & folding of apparel units.

1.    Trainer will show specific technique of folding units to refurbished and have the appearance of coming straight from factory.

SKU identification

•    Identify units’ appropriate SKU.

•    Print MSRP ticket & attach with swift tacking to product.

Repackage product using various components.

•    Different size bags & boxes

•    Shoes boxes & tissue

•    Hygiene swimsuit liners

Apply poly labels

•    Confirmed MSRP ticket matches poly label on outside packaging.

Assign unit location

•    Utilize inventory reporting system to manually write location on post it note & attach to unit.

Sort product back into tote by floor level location

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred but is not required

• Ability to meet accuracy, speed, and productivity targets in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with physical tasks: frequently lifting up to 35–50 lbs, bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, standing/moving for long periods

• Able to walk significant distances during the shift and work in variable temperatures

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions in English

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing quality, efficient work

• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and willingness to be a team player
