Job Summary:Primary focus is to support the Supply Chain and Production by receiving, storing, moving and distributing material/product, and/or supporting Customer Service by moving, packaging and shipping orders for customers.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Raw Goods:
Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lineConveys materials and items from Raw Goods to Production areas or to other designated areasSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeMarks materials with identifying informationRecords amount of materials or items received or distributedWeighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standardsArrange materials in specified sequence for use by other workersUses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactionsDrives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipmentMaintains inventory records on paper and/or in ERP systemPerform other duties as assigned.
Finished Goods:
Reads customer order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or packaged for distributionConveys product and items from production areas to storage or to other designated areasSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stationUses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactionsCompiles worksheets or tickets from customer specificationsDrives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipmentPrepares parcels for mailing

Receiving Logs
Logs kept current/accurate and in compliance with accepted dept standardsReceiving documents are delivered to warehouse manager for reconciliation

Attendance
