G|M Business Interiors has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate in Riverside!
COMPENSATION
Starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience. Paid time off, health insurance benefits, a 401(k) plan, and an employee stock ownership plan are also offered for eligible team members.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing the daily tasks required to keep the warehouse running smoothly. There is a heavy emphasis on loading and unloading product safely and efficiently. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate will make sure that all necessary product is where it needs to be at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Demonstrate positive attitude and good attendance.
- Load and unload product/furniture on and off trucks.
- Unpack and inspect all products and furnishings for damage.
- Report damaged items to Supervisor immediately upon discovery.
- Stage furniture in preparation for the installation.
- Use four-wheel furniture dolly, upright dolly & panel carts for product movement.
- Keep warehouse and company grounds neat, orderly, and safe.
- Operate forklift safely and follow all safety rules.
- Assist field installation team when necessary.
- Safely drive company vehicles when assigned.
- Maintain communication with teammates and follow directions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid California Driver License with clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safe truck loading and unloading procedures.
- Effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
