Black Bear Talent is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Warehouse Associate to join our clients distribution and fulfillment team in Roanoke, Virginia. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, processed, stored, and shipped to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, safety conscious, and committed to delivering high quality work in a fast paced warehouse environment.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Accurately label, sort, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently following all company procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow shipping documentation and order fulfillment procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory, shipments, and order status.
- Adhere to all safety policies and warehouse best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.

- Must have excellent attendance and a proven, stable work history. Reliability and dependability are essential for success in this role.
- Must possess impeccable attention to detail with the ability to accurately process orders, verify inventory, and maintain quality standards with minimal errors.
