Spherion Mid Ohio is partnering with a forward-thinking company in Sandusky, Ohio, under new ownership and leadership. We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join this dynamic team. This opportunity starts at  $18 /hr. providing stability and growth in a rapidly modernizing facility.

Position: Warehouse Worker
Shift: 1st Shift (flexibility and occasional overtime required)
Location: Sandusky, Ohio
Compensation: $18 /hr.

Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be a key player in the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials and maintaining essential documentation. This role demands a high level of independence, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet production needs. This is a full warehouse position, not a material handler role, meaning you will have a wide range of responsibilities to support the entire production process.

Key Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation: Operate sit-down and stand-up tow motors/forklifts to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
Material Handling: Ensure production lines are properly stocked, and trucks are loaded and unloaded accurately.
Documentation: Maintain neat and precise records for shipping and receiving, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
Task Prioritization: Independently manage daily tasks, prioritizing to ensure all deadlines are met.
Inventory Management: Pull ingredients from high areas, dump scrap bins, and maintain organized storage areas.
Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Qualifications:
Forklift Experience: Proven experience with sit-down and stand-up tow motors/forklifts is essential.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Team Player: Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are crucial.
