Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and not afraid of a little cold? Our client is looking for a Freezer Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced cold storage environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This is a bus line accessible role located near Schenectady, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and stage frozen products accurately for customer orders.
- Load and unload trucks using manual or powered equipment.
- Keep the freezer and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Track and report inventory levels and discrepancies.
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous freezer or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working in cold conditions (as low as -10°F) for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet productivity goals.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to consistent attendance.
Pay for this position starts at $18/hr.
