Warehouse Associate- Shipper 1st Shift

Location: Mansfield, TX
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM PLUS OT
Overtime Available: This department frequently works overtime. Employees should be prepared to work until all daily shipping operations are completed.

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and motivated Shippers to join our Shipping Department. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and shipping customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and paying close attention to detail.

Essential Job Duties

• Sort and stage pallets on the shipping dock using a pallet jack or by hand according to daily shipping schedules.

• Organize shipments while following truck weight limits and shipping requirements.

• Prepare packages for shipment by taping or stapling boxes and applying shipping labels.

• Operate the air pillow machine to produce protective packaging materials for outgoing orders.

• Monitor packages flagged for incorrect weight and make necessary adjustments or notify the Shipping Supervisor of complex issues.

• Assemble custom shipping boxes using a staple gun.

• Empty cardboard and trash bins into the warehouse trash compactor.

• Pick customer orders using an RF scanner by scanning order tickets, locating products, and placing items into boxes on the conveyor system.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience required.

• Experience operating an RF scanner is a plus.

• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to work overtime as needed until daily production is complete.
