Warehouse Associate, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory
Zina's Fine Foods, South Plainfield NJ. Full time, immediate openings.
$22 to $24 per hour depending on experience and shift.
We are looking for reliable warehouse associates to receive, store, move and ship ingredients and finished product accurately and safely. If you have worked at Amazon, Walmart, a grocery distributor, a food warehouse or a fulfillment center, we would like to hear from you.
What you will do
Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
Receive ingredients, packaging materials, supplies and finished product.
Scan product in and out of the inventory system and verify item numbers, quantities, lot numbers, dates and storage locations.
Match deliveries against purchase orders and paperwork, and report shortages, overages, damage and wrong deliveries.
Label, move and store product in its assigned location.
Operate an electric pallet jack safely.
Pick and stage ingredients for production, and stage finished product for shipment.
Keep inventory records accurate and enter transactions promptly.
Follow FIFO and product rotation, assist with cycle counts, and look into inventory differences.
Keep docks, aisles, storage areas, coolers and freezers clean and organized.
What we are looking for
At least two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking or inventory experience.
RF scanners, barcode scanners or warehouse inventory systems preferred.
Electric pallet jack experience preferred. We provide training and authorization.
Basic computer and inventory system skills, and attention to getting counts right.
Reliable attendance and able to work on your own.
Comfortable in dry, refrigerated and frozen storage areas.
Able to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds through the shift.
Available for overtime when required.
Pay and benefits
$22 to $24 per hour depending on experience and shift.
Overtime paid according to applicable law.
New Jersey earned sick leave.
Five paid days off per year.
401(k) with company match. The company pays 100% of the first 1% you put in, then 50% of the next 5%. You are enrolled automatically at 3% of your pay once you are 21 and have six months of service. The company match becomes fully yours after two years.

Responsabilidades
Cargar y descargar camiones.

Mantener registros de inventario exactos y registrar las transacciones a tiempo.
Seguir FIFO y la rotación de producto, ayudar con los conteos cíclicos e investigar diferencias.
Mantener limpios los muelles, pasillos, áreas de almacenamiento, refrigeradores y congeladores.
Requisitos
Al menos dos años de experiencia en almacén, recibo, envío, surtido de órdenes o inventario.
Se prefiere experiencia con escáneres RF o de código de barras y sistemas de inventario.
Se prefiere experiencia con patín eléctrico. Damos capacitación y autorización.
Conocimientos básicos de computación y atención al detalle en los conteos.
Asistencia confiable y capacidad de trabajar de forma independiente.
Cómodo trabajando en áreas secas, refrigeradas y congeladas.
Capacidad de estar de pie, caminar, agacharse y levantar hasta 50 libras durante el turno.
Disponibilidad para horas extra cuando se requiera.
