We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
Accurately stock HVAC equipment, parts, and materials in designated warehouse locations.
Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick tickets while ensuring order accuracy.
Pack and prepare orders for local delivery or shipment.
Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
Assist with replenishing stock and organizing warehouse locations.
Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
Assist delivery drivers with loading routes as needed.
Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, customer service representatives, and branch personnel to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building supply distribution is a plus.
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
Basic computer and inventory management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Knowledge of HVAC products and equipment.
Shipping and receiving experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and customer service.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
