Warehouse coworker
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Rate: $25.56/hr
Hours: 12:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday-Saturday, with 2 days off throughout the week
Duration: 3 months+
Job Summary:
Picking orders on flat carts and shopping baskets
Required to wear a high visibility vest and steel toes
Will be walking in warehouse most of the day picking the orders, pulling cardboard out of bays, re-allocating returns back to their home location, organizing product, aligning pallets on the floor
Job Description:
• Contributes to the highest goods availability for customers by the correct and on-time execution of the assigned store goods flow tasks.
• Effectively performs the store goods flow operation in the assigned area, using the available systems and tools that support an efficient goods flow process and data integrity.
• Works according to inventory routines in order to maximize stock accuracy to achieve the best product availability for the customer.
• Commits to all health, safety and security rules and requirements within the area of responsibility, and actively helps colleagues to prevent any incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, building, and products.
• Contributes to the agreed goals of the action plan in the daily work by being involved in the goal-setting process.
• Contributes to optimized goods flow operations within the assigned goods flow process by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way using and sharing good examples.
• Shares knowledge and skills to support colleagues in the department and other areas of the store.
• Will occassionally lift, carry, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring 1-50lbs.
