Warehouse Specialist Woodland, WA | $22/hr
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is hiring a Warehouse Specialist on behalf of a local wood manufacturing client in Woodland, WA. This is a temporary opportunity offering full time hours for the duration of the assignment.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Estimated End Date - Thursday, April 30th
Pay: $22.00/hr
Location: Woodland, WA
What You'll Do
Assemble, package, and deliver products and materials to internal and external customers and vendors
Load and unload materials and finished products according to standard operating procedures
Pick and package parts for shipment, including crating and skidding of large parts or kits
Utilize woodworking tools and some carpentry skills for crating, used to safely ship larger components and kits.
Conduct inventory cycle counts and ensure accountability of inventory
Operate forklifts, jib cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
Assist across all areas of warehouse operations as needed
What We're Looking For
High School diploma or GED required
12 years of warehouse experience required
Shipping and receiving knowledge required
Experience with carpentry/woodworking tools required this role works primarily in the crating department, building crates used in the packaging and shipping process
Forklift experience highly preferred
Basic computer skills
Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practices
Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role is based in a production/warehouse setting. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-noise environment (hearing protection provided), wearing eye protection, and occasionally working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate material handling equipment safely.
