About the Role
The Warehouse Associate is on the front lines of production. You make sure product is selected, mixed, bagged, and shipped out correctly and on time. The role mixes a range of hands-on warehouse work, including weighing product, machine operation, driving, shipping and receiving, palletizing, and lifting, with a constant focus on order accuracy and the safety of everyone around you.
You will keep open communication with the Warehouse Manager and office staff so orders get out the door on time and customers get our best every time.

What You Will Do
- Select, mix, bag, and ship product accurately and on schedule
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and drive as the role requires
- Handle shipping, receiving, and palletizing with an eye on accuracy and safety
- Accurately and efficiently load finished product onto customer trucks without damage
- Track inventory locations and work confidently with our lot numbering system
- Follow policies and procedures with a strong awareness of safety at all times
- Work overtime as needed during our busy spring and fall seasons
What You Bring
- Forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- Comfort with tracking inventory locations, simple math, and a lot numbering system
- A clean driving record within the last five years
- Excellent attendance and reliable transportation to work
- The ability to speak clearly, listen attentively, follow instructions, and work with little supervision
- A team mindset that works well with both internal staff and external customers
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math and computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of a post-offer motor vehicle report for moving violations
- Read, write, and speak English
- Allergies: this position will be regularly subjected to possible allergens including grasses and flowering species
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking frequently while performing warehouse duties, walking up to 8 hours per shift on a concrete surface
- Occasionally bending at the waist 30 to 45 degrees for various tasks, including loading and unloading shipments
- Frequent use of both hands and arms throughout the shift while loading and unloading product using a cart or hand truck, and while reaching, handling, gripping, and power grasping product, carts, and pallet jacks
- Occasionally kneeling and crouching while picking orders, handling boxes at floor level, shrink wrapping, and performing clean-up tasks
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds of product to reposition on a cart or pallet
