Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused
Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, inventory handling, shipping, and receiving. This role requires experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers while working at heights and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time
temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term growth potential for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pull customer orders using work orders and pick sheets
- Stage and prepare materials for shipment and delivery
- Receive, verify, put away, and stock incoming inventory
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers while working at heights of 20+ feet
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain inventory accuracy
- Assist with inventory control, material handling, and warehouse organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safety-compliant work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of recent warehouse experience
- Minimum 6 months of sit-down forklift and cherry picker experience
- Comfortable working at heights of 20 feet or higher
- Experience using RF scanners (RF guns)
- Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or order fulfillment
- Ability to quickly learn warehouse products, processes, and systems
- Experience working in high-volume warehouse or distribution environments
