Job Description: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all warehouse duties including pulling orders, staging, replenishing inventory, labeling, building kits, receiving, assisting with customer pick-ups, working with Program Coordinators for internal program needs, overall safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Ensure safety and quality are top priority
Must work well with others and succeed in a team environment
Prepares refrigerated and frozen orders for distribution
Handles program purchase invoices and collaborates with internal stakeholders
Maintains CERES inputs and cycle counts
Provides intake support for new vendors/producers or vendors/producers for Farm to Table Program
Adhere to food safety regulations
Daily cleaning, organization and date labeling
Remove spoiled product and clean coolers
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:
A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school diploma, GED or technical education and prior experience in a warehouse and distribution environment.
Must be able to obtain a forklift certification
Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency and enthusiasm, both individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and ability to resolve problems
Must be able to use a computer and hand-held scanner, and operate all warehouse equipment safely
Must be able to use office equipment
Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and follow through on multiple daily tasks and projects.
Leadership, diplomacy, interpersonal skills
