Shift and Schedule
- Full-Time Position
- Monday-Friday.
- Start time between 7am/7:30am until work is done, around 4:30pm
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.
What you'll do:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
- Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
- Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
- Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
- Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting
- As needed, operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications.
- As needed, read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production.
- As needed, maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance.
What you'll bring:
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
- Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or building supply industry preferred.
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic measurements and tolerances preferred.
