Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Shift: Weekdays 7:00am-3:30pm shifts may vary

Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate II position is responsible for performing various warehouse tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the facility. This position plays a crucial role in prioritizing workload, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring a safe work environment. This position is expected to be a team player and work with all other departments at Renewal by Andersen of CNY to meet company goals and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Daily Warehouse Operations: Perform core logistics tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of all products and materials.

· Inventory & Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for defects or damages to ensure only high-quality items enter inventory. Accurately tag, label, and organize stock to optimize space, cleanliness, and security.

· Order Fulfillment & Staging: Check, verify, and fill job orders per material lists. Specifically, stage and label window units for install teams to ensure timely access and prevent material loss.

· Site Security & Supervision: Authorize and supervise warehouse entry for subcontractors, vendors, and delivery personnel. Verify identities, confirm the loading of approved materials per contracts, and ensure all visitors follow safety protocols.

· Facility & Carpentry Support: Safely and proficiently operate a variety of power tools (including power saws, drills, sanders, and routers) to cut, shape, and install wood trim, molding, and complete other minor facility projects.

· Safety & Maintenance: Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Perform preventive maintenance inspections on tools and equipment before and after use.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) Required:

  • Interpersonal, team building and follow-up skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years or less of verifiable experience working in a warehouse environment, with demonstrated understanding of daily operations, safety procedures, inventory handling, and material movement.
  • Must pass and maintain a valid DOT medical examination/physical.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience handling full life cycle flow of home improvement product installation/service highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
  • Obtain and maintain PIT certification
