Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including loading flatbed trucks, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory handling, and material staging. This position works primarily in an outdoor warehouse and yard environment and requires candidates who are comfortable working in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate has recent warehouse and sit-down forklift experience, a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a desire for long-term employment and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Load flatbed delivery trucks for scheduled customer deliveries
• Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials
• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Handle and move materials throughout the warehouse and yard
• Read and follow sales orders and work instructions to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain inventory organization and material staging areas
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Ensure warehouse and yard areas remain clean, organized, secure, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience
• 1-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Ability to read and understand sales orders and shipping documents
• Stable work history with no employment gaps greater than 3 months unless clearly explained
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, pull, and perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment

• Experience in warehouse operations including:
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Inventory control
  • Material handling
  • Delivery preparation
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse materials and processes
• Experience working in industrial, construction, building supply, or distribution environment
