Temporary Warehouse Associate

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking Temporary Warehouse Associates to join our team in West Columbia, SC. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations and help ensure inventory and customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to stay active throughout the workday, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a team.

Position Details

• Job Title: Temporary Warehouse Associate - busy season support

• Location: West Columbia, SC

• Pay: $16.00 per hour

• Schedule: 1st Shift, MondayFriday, 6:00 AM3:30 PM

• Additional Hours: Extended hours may be required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, receiving, and organizing incoming inventory

• Sort, label, and properly store products and materials

• Pick products accurately based on customer or internal orders

• Pack and prepare orders for shipment

• Verify products, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy

• Load and stage completed orders for shipment

• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment

• Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties as assigned

• Operate warehouse equipment and tools as needed and in accordance with safety procedures

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory, orders, or other warehouse needs

• Meet productivity and quality expectations while maintaining accuracy

• Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred

• Ability to work MondayFriday, 6:00 AM3:30 PM, with flexibility for extended hours when needed

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies

• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and warehouse procedures
