Overview
We are seeking a dependable Receiving & Put Away Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming inventory, verifying accuracy, and placing materials in the correct warehouse locations. The ideal candidate has forklift and RF scanner experience, is comfortable working at heights, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials
Put away inventory accurately in designated locations
Read and interpret packing slips to ensure inventory accuracy
Operate material handling equipment, including sit down forklifts and cherry pickers
Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory
Pull and prepare orders for shipment as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse at all times
Job duties may align with roles such as Floater, Pipe Yard Inside/Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, including sit down forklift and cherry picker operation
Forklift operator experience is required
At least 6 months of RF scanner experience
Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet
Ability to read and understand packing slips
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance/equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Background in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management
Product knowledge or the ability to learn products quickly
