Overview

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and can safely operate a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role starts as a short-term assignment with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory and materials
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Wrap and band materials to prepare shipments for delivery
• Put away materials in designated warehouse locations
• Assist team members with warehouse operations as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory organization and material flow
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
• Minimum of 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Experience operating material handling equipment safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (heavier items moved using team lifts or equipment)
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand throughout the entire shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
• Experience with inventory control and material handling activities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
