Warehouse Associate Forklift Operator Description:
Duties and Requirements
- Pull customer orders accurately using handheld scanning devices
- Scan and verify serial numbers to ensure order accuracy
- Package products securely using appropriate boxes and packing materials
- Operate a forklift to retrieve, move, and rotate inventory throughout the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading and verifying incoming shipments
- Record serial numbers, tracking information, and shipment details accurately
- Support inventory control efforts by stocking, labeling, and organizing products in designated locations
- Follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory procedures
- Process products moving through repair and refurbishment workflows
- Verify picked items against sales orders before shipment
- Prepare outbound shipments using carrier systems and shipping software
- Coordinate shipment information and tracking updates as needed
- Forklift experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning new technology, software, and warehouse procedures
- Ability to regularly lift and move 1050 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment year-round
