WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT B SHIFT

General Description:

• Ensures that all safety compliance programs are adhered to in his/her work area(s).
• Responsible for making sure that all policy and procedures that applies to the warehouse and outside the warehouse are adhered to.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly inventory audits on warehouse parts.
• Assist other areas of the plant when emergency warehouse functions are needed.
• Reviews and makes suggestions to his/her manager for improvements to the warehouse.
• Logs all equipment or operational discrepancies found while performing job and notifies Warehouse Supervisor of any major issues.
• Monitors and acquires all needed parts and supplies requested as needed from the counter.
• Must have working knowledge of computers, parts ordering, receiving parts, parts distribution, parts inventory and controls.
• Must maintain a good working relationship with peers, supervisors and fellow employees.
• Must comply with all plant programs and procedures.
• Must be able to complete all plant training as required, forklift, fall protection, fire extinguisher, etc.
• Must have awareness of housekeeping in and around her/his area of responsibility and take immediate action to correct all housekeeping issues.
• Must work shift and days as needed for 24-7 coverage of the warehouse.
• Has the ability to assist and complete all jobs in a timely manner.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to do heavy lifting at required times.
• Work areas may have some situations requiring immediate cleaning or safety corrections.
• Temperature in work area varies depending on where employee is working.
• Typical work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, this position requires Saturday and Sunday work as regular hours.
• Overhead work and some height work will be required.
