Warehouse Attendant

• Location: San Diego, CA 92126 
• Schedule: Mon to Fri, 6am – 2pm 
• Job Type: Full-Time 
• Length of assignment: Contract
• Rate: $22 per hour

About the Role 

We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Attendant to help keep materials, parts, tools, and equipment moving efficiently in and out of the warehouse.  If you enjoy working in a team, staying organized, working safely, and making sure the right materials get where they need to go, this could be a great fit.

What We’re Looking For 

• 3+ years of related warehouse experience. 
• Forklift certification required. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Experience operating forklifts and/or other material-handling equipment. 
• Experience with receiving, shipping, loading/unloading, stocking, or inventory. 
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. 
• Strong attention to detail when checking parts, quantities, orders, and documentation. 
• Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse policies. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. 

What You’ll Do 

• Receive, unload, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials according to warehouse procedures. 
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely load, unload, move, stack, and relocate materials. 
• Complete daily forklift/equipment inspections and report equipment problems or failures to management. 
• Safely stack and store materials while following required height and weight limits. 
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery, verifying the correct part, type, and quantity. 
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently. 
• Maintain accurate records and tracking information for materials moving into and out of the warehouse. 
• Handle shipping and receiving documentation for UPS, FedEx, RPA, and other freight shipments. 
• Report received purchase orders and will-call items to the Purchasing Department. 
• Issue purchase orders for parts requested by mechanics. 
• Deliver parts, tools, and equipment to the appropriate teams as needed. 
• Assist with physical inventory and maintain proper stock rotation. 
• Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, organized, and safe. 
• Communicate regularly with Logistics, Project Management, Superintendents, Field Staff, and other departments. 
• Follow all warehouse procedures, company safety policies, and material-handling requirements. 
• Help promote a safe and productive work environment for the entire team. 
• Occasionally assist with shop stake-truck driving. 
• Help train drivers on general pickup, delivery, and drop-off procedures. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• UPS shipping and receiving 
• FedEx shipping and receiving 
• RPA systems 
• Purchase orders 
• Inventory tracking 
• Microsoft Office 
• Smartsheet 
• TotalService 
• Stake-bed or similar delivery vehicles 
• Training or assisting other drivers
