We are seeking a mechanically inclined Temporary Mechanical Warehouse Technician to join our team for an approximately one-month assignment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, follows procedures well, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
1st Shift Hours
8AM to 4:30 PM or 7AM to 3:330 PM
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work in a warehouse test-bench environment handling, testing, and repackaging hydraulic motors.
Responsibilities include:
- Open and unpack cardboard containers
- Prepare hydraulic motors for testing (motors weigh approximately 7 lbs.)
- Remove protective plastic plugs
- Record serial numbers accurately
- Install test fittings using a torque wrench
- Mount motors onto the test stand using bolts and a torque wrench
- Connect hydraulic hoses to test fittings
- Operate the test stand and perform motor testing (approximately one minute per test)
- Record test results
- Remove motors from the test stand after testing
- Drain motors and remove fittings
- Sort motors into "Passed" and "Failed" containers
- Repackage passing motors according to established packaging procedures
- Move containers short distances using a pallet jack
