Warehouse Bakery Production Supervisor

Award winning specialty food manufacturer is immediately hiring a bi lingual Spanish production supervisor, highly motivated worker with supervisory experience or team lead experience. This is a fast paced environment and the role will focus on production. This specialty manufacturer is know for making their products by hand and distributing nation-wide.
  
Role:           Production Supervisor – Pastry Manufacturing (AM Shift)
Location:   Bronx 
Schedule:   Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to completion
Pay Rate:  $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our pastry manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading production teams in a food manufacturing environment and be committed to maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. This position is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring production goals are met, and promoting compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees during the AM shift.
• Ensure daily production schedules are completed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor product quality and adherence to company standards.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve production goals.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity of employees.
• Communicate production issues and collaborate with management to implement solutions.
• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all company policies.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Lead, or similar leadership role required.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment required; bakery or pastry production experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate a production team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
