Job Duties:

• Replace, charge, and maintain forklift batteries
• Operate battery-changing and charging equipment
• Monitor battery performance and charging cycles
• Assign lift trucks and maintain equipment and key-control logs
• Track preventive maintenance schedules
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and projects
• Maintain battery and equipment inventory records
• Label, store, and handle batteries properly
• Keep the battery-charging area clean and organized
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid forklift certification
• Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial experience
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
• Basic computer, spreadsheet, and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to wear all required PPE

As a Warehouse Battery Changer you will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, unload, and organize products throughout warehouse operations. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures.
