Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Warehouse Operator in Brooklyn, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone who has solid sit-down forklift experience, enjoys working independently, and prefers a smaller warehouse environment where you're more than just a number.
We handle the storage and distribution of steel and aluminum coils for the automotive industry.
What You'll Do:
- Operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor
- Assist with receiving, storing, staging, and shipping materials
- Move and handle steel coil products safely
- Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes and match materials to orders
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Operate an overhead crane when trained/qualified
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Work independently once fully trained
Schedule:
10:30 AM–7:00 PM
Candidates must be flexible to work at least one weekend day.
Schedule options may include:
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Off Tuesday & Saturday
OR
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Off Wednesday & Sunday
Overtime may be available.
What We're Looking For:
- Sit-down forklift/tow motor experience required
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Coil handling or overhead crane experience is a big plus
- Comfortable working independently
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Safety-minded and able to follow procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Steel-toe boots required
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening
