Responsible for the receipt and distribution of materials to/from the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition
- Delivers materials upon request
- Aids in taking inventory of all materials, spot checks inventory on a daily basis and reports any discrepancies to supervisor
- Prepares and maintains reports and records upon request
- Keeps store room clean at all times
- Moves and loads boxes for transportation to storage areas upon requested
- Keeps Warehouse clean and orderly at all times
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Meets attendance guidelines of the job as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic mathematic proficiency
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must qualify for company insurance coverage
- Basic personal computer experience including Microsoft Office
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
- Six months previous warehouse experience
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to maneuver all areas of the casino and the warehouse
- Must posses the ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, weigh scale, pull carts and dollies
- Able to perform duties in a noisy, busy environment
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
- Must be able to meet the level four or heavy work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
