Warehouse Coordinator, 3rd Shift

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Coordinator, 3rd Shift, is responsible for coordinating overnight warehouse operations within assigned departments to ensure efficient product flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with operational, quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards. This role serves as a key operational resource during overnight operations by monitoring workflow activities, coordinating staffing priorities, supporting inventory control processes, and ensuring warehouse transactions are completed accurately and timely.

Working closely with warehouse leadership and frontline associates, the Warehouse Coordinator, 3rd Shift supports operational execution, productivity, and warehouse readiness by helping manage overnight workflows, resolving operational issues, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, replenished, picked, and prepared to support customer commitments and subsequent shift operations.

Depending on organizational needs, this role may oversee one or more of the following operational areas across multiple shifts:

• Quality Control
• Receiving
• Inventory Control (Bin Auditing)
• Pick Operations
• LTC Operations
• Main Box / Core Warehouse Operations

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily workflow activities and operational priorities within assigned warehouse departments or specialty areas.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure warehouse transactions are completed accurately within warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Support inventory control, product organization, put-away, replenishment, and operational execution activities.
• Train, coach, and support warehouse associates on operational procedures, productivity expectations, and workplace standards.
• Monitor operational performance and communicate workflow priorities to warehouse team members.
• Identify and resolve operational concerns or escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.
• Support staffing coordination and labor allocation activities to ensure operational coverage and productivity.
• Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, product verification, and warehouse organization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
• Monitor product handling practices to maintain product quality, inventory integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with Operations, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Receiving, and warehouse leadership teams to support daily business objectives.
• Assist leadership with operational planning, workflow optimization, and special projects as assigned.
• Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse, inventory control, logistics, distribution, or operational support experience preferred.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, handheld devices, or inventory management tools preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout warehouse operational areas for extended periods of time.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials within company-established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, wet, or varying warehouse temperature environments.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with workplace safety requirements.

Work Environment:

This position primarily supports overnight (3rd shift) warehouse operations and requires frequent interaction with warehouse associates, inventory systems, products, and operational teams to ensure productivity, inventory accuracy, quality standards, and operational readiness for subsequent shifts. Coordinators may be exposed to moving machinery, powered industrial equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels. The role may require working in refrigerated, freezer, wet, and fast-paced warehouse environments while supporting continuous operations.
