The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily logistics and transportation operations through administrative coordination, scheduling, communication, inventory management, and documentation control. This role works closely with warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, and external transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products while maintaining inventory accuracy within SAP and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and capable of maintaining accurate transportation, inventory, and system records while supporting operational efficiency. As a Warehouse Coordinator you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and transportation documentation.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy within SAP through timely and accurate transactions and system updates.
  • Perform and support cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with inventory management, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Track deliveries, shipments, and inventory movements to ensure on-time completion.
  • Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments regarding shipment status and scheduling updates.
  • Enter and maintain data within SAP, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and transportation logs.
  • Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, shipping paperwork, and other logistics-related documents.
  • Support warehouse and logistics operations with administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Monitor transportation schedules and escalate delays or issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory controls, and shipping requirements.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining records for audits and operational reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics, transportation, and inventory operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start)  
  • Five (5) years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse administration, shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control in a private, public, government or military environment   

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related filed from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory management processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Eight (8) years or more in previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse administration, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
