Position: Warehouse Coordinator
Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00/hour
Location: Hayward, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to support both materials planning and physical warehouse operations. This hybrid position combines inventory and materials planning in NetSuite with hands-on responsibilities including kitting, staging, receiving, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working both at a computer and on the warehouse floor, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring production teams have the materials and components needed to operate efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze NetSuite MRP and demand-planning data to determine material requirements and help prevent production shortages.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify materials requiring replenishment.
• Place replenishment and purchase orders based on production and inventory requirements.
• Track vendor deliveries and follow up on material shortages, lead times, and delivery issues.
• Accurately pull raw materials, parts, and components according to NetSuite work orders.
• Organize and kit materials for production and assembly operations.
• Stage completed kits and required materials to support production schedules.
• Record inventory movements, receipts, material issues, and completed kits in NetSuite in real time.
• Receive incoming freight and verify quantities and materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Organize warehouse shelving and maintain accurate material locations.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support overall stock accuracy.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, suppliers, and other internal departments regarding material requirements.
• Identify potential material shortages and communicate issues before they impact production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform additional warehouse and materials coordination duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse coordination, materials planning, inventory control, or a related role preferred.
• Experience using NetSuite for inventory, MRP, work orders, or materials planning strongly preferred.
• Understanding of inventory management and material replenishment processes.
• Experience with kitting, staging, receiving, and physical inventory control.
• Ability to read and accurately process work orders, purchase orders, and packing slips.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify material shortages and prioritize requirements based on production needs.
• Effective communication skills for working with vendors, production personnel, and internal departments.
• Ability to balance computer-based planning responsibilities with hands-on warehouse activities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
