Position Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator supports the Warehouse and Residential Operations teams by maintaining inventory, preparing job materials, and ensuring crews have what they need for successful installations. This role involves managing staging schedules, restocking kits, coordinating shared tools and equipment, stocking installation vans, and keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and organized.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and process material transfers between locations efficiently.
• Submit well-documented purchase requisitions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Manage the staging of project materials to support smooth operations, while ensuring timely and accurate creation of sales orders in Intacct for effective order management and fulfillment.
• Print and prepare project documents in alignment with staging schedules.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving shipments, unloading trucks, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating freight.
• Prepare and organize all materials required for will-call orders, ensuring each item is accurately labeled and easily accessible for quick retrieval when crews arrive.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and outdoor work areas.
• Assist and support the Warehouse Assistant's daily activities.
• Collaborate with the fleet team on routine vehicle inspections and related needs.
• Assist with RMA processing, shipping and receiving documentation, data entry, and label creation.
• Support facilities-related tasks such as recycling, snow removal, and outdoor safety measures.
• Transport materials between company locations using box trucks or shared vehicles.
• Participate in projects that improve warehouse workflow, safety, and crew efficiency.
• Support the replenishment of packouts and go-bags by ensuring all essential supplies are inventoried and restocked. Maintain these kits in optimal condition so they are ready for deployment.
• Maintain accurate inventory throughout daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cycles, with inventory management as the top priority.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of solar PV materials, electrical equipment, and installation standards.
• Ability to operate a forklift, box truck, and large van.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in varying outdoor conditions.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, Salesforce, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and/or ERP systems such as Intacct.
• Effective communicator and problem solver who collaborates well across teams.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable under company policy.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Not Required)
• Familiarity with multiple solar racking and mounting systems.
• Ability to read electrical plans and one-line diagrams.
• Forklift certification.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights as needed.
• Work is primarily warehouse-based with moderate noise levels.
