The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily distribution center operations by coordinating production documentation, issuing components to production jobs, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. This role maintains accurate records and documentation, including bills of lading, pick tickets, maintenance work orders, and customer or vendor communications, while ensuring timely processing and filing of operational paperwork. The Warehouse Coordinator partners with production leads, customer service, receiving, and inventory teams to support audits, cycle counts, compliance activities, and issue resolution within the distribution center. This position also helps maintain operational efficiency by ordering supplies, coordinating with outside vendors and contractors, and providing backup support for production and other warehouse functions as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Issue components to Production jobs once complete
- Assist receiving with receiving shipments, printing labels and pallet tags
- Route collect shipments in the customers' portals
- Support DC Production Leads to include printing job paperwork, completing hourly audits, assigning jobs for temporary and full-time staff
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
- Input maintenance workorders into Cogs as well as schedule work with outside contractors
- Managing office inventory and working with vendors to ensure the regular supply of office materials
- Provide copies of filed BOL's to accounting and auditors
- Support other DC duties as needed (including production back up)
- Verify and file BOL's and pick tickets daily / Provide copies of filed BOL's to accounting and auditors
- Support Inventory Cycle Counts
- Order DC supplies for shipping, DC production, maintenance, and cleaning staff
- Support Customer Service Compliance, Distribution Coordinator, and
- Receiving Supervisor/ Assist with researching DC complaints/fines
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ years of office administrative experience
- 1+ years in use of PC with Microsoft office knowledge
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
