Position Summary:

ofi values in-person collaboration with colleagues – employees are expected to work their specific work schedule on site at their ofi location.

ReportingtotheShippingSupervisor,theWarehouseAssistantisanentrylevelpositionthat will be responsible for the daily labor tasks for the Cold Storage and Shelling Warehouse.

What You’ll Do - Position Responsibilities:  

• FollowallOlamPeanutShellingCompanyGoodManufacturingPractices(GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
• Ensureproducthasnoriskofbeingcrosscontaminatedwithanotherallergenpriorto loading or unloading any lots.
• FollowOlamPeanutShellingCompanyPersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPEs) guidelines.
• MaintaintheColdStorageareasinaccordancewiththeSafeFoodPlanandMaster Sanitation Schedule.
• Maintainwallclearanceto avoidpotentialpestharboragesand or infestations.
• AssisttheShippingManagerintheefficientandcost-effectiveshippingof finished product to customers.
• Followallshippinginstructionsrequiredbyeachspecific customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned   

Experience You’ll Bring – Role Requirements:

• HighSchoolDiplomaorGEDpreferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  
• Abletoworkaspartofateam.
• Goodcommunicationskills. 
• Basicmathskills. 
• Physicaldexterity. 
• Willingnesstoworkinshifts(lateor earlyhours,weekends,andovertimeif necessary)
• This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes peanuts Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where peanuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air. The pay for this role is $13.87 hourly and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
