Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Valdosta, GA
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (overtime may be required)
Work Model: Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to support daily warehouse and shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inventory, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities while maintaining a safe and organized workplace. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, warehouse experience, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures
  • Safely operate forklifts and maintain forklift certification
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete required documentation
  • Prepare, stage, and verify products for shipment
  • Review packing slips and ensure accurate order fulfillment
  • Build, wrap, and organize pallets for shipping according to transportation requirements
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
  • Follow hazardous materials handling and transportation procedures
  • Identify and communicate operational issues while assisting with problem resolution
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
