Position Summary: The Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse by collaborating with various departments contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as coordinating with various teams to maintain optimal warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock levels, and implementing efficient inventory control processes. The Warehouse Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
  • Prior Inventory Control experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems and warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and customers.
  • 3 to 4 years in a fulfillment center environment preferred.
  • Strong computational skills required. Including but not limited to customary and metric measurement, fractions, percentages, and ratios.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Self-starter: utilizes all known resources to problem solve.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and dependable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Oracle Knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification or experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.
  • Door or mechanical industry a plus.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Office (temperature controlled) / Warehouse (not temperature controlled) environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Repetitive standing, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
  • Computer and office equipment utilization.
  • Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments and verify their accuracy while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and inventory control teams for seamless warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Address and report any quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulation.
  • Support facility and department guidelines, processes, and SOP's.
  • Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environment.
  • Follow cycle-counting program to ensure accuracy and analyze inventory levels
  • Identify areas for improvement in inventory control processes.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management
