Nucor (California Steel Industries) is hiring a Warehouse Counter team member in Fontana, CA, to support site logistics and mill operations. Job Responsibilities
Job Duties
Material Movement & Loading: Perform daily equipment inspections, unload truck/railcar deliveries, operate the Viking railcar system, and handle put-aways or zinc inventory.
Counter & Administrative Operations: Staff the warehouse counter to assist mill teammates, pull reservations, deliver materials to admin areas, and receive SAP orders.
Inventory & Freight Management: Schedule and load outbound freight shipments, process UPS shipments, oversee the Tote Recycling Program, and perform regular cycle counts.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (6+ months preferred)
Forklift certification and experience operating large trucks or material handling equipment preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP experience preferred
Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold all safety policies, practices, and housekeeping standards
